When the mist finally cleared, the Ilulissat Icefjord revealed an almost surreal landscape. The low-angled light sculpted every ridge and fracture, giving the icebergs an almost architectural presence. I had to leave, but I stood motionless for a long time, unable to tear myself away from this scene that changed with every passing minute.
