William
As an engineer, I first explored the beauty of the world through the life sciences.
As a sailor and paraglider, I learned to make the elements allies rather than obstacles, to move with the wind rather than against it.
As an athlete, I learned the patience of the body, the precision of movement, and the value of effort.
As an investor, I learned that everything reveals itself in time.
A musician all my life, I have come to understand that silence can sometimes be more powerful than a chord.
Photography has become an extension of this listening, another way to compose with light, form, and breath.
In the mountains, everything converges: raw beauty, the rhythm of the stride, clarity of mind. The two lives complement each other—one provides structure, the other offers freedom.
To photograph is to learn to listen to the world before looking at it.
I am not pursuing the perfect photograph. Since I began at the end of summer 2025, I have primarily sought what soothes the eye: a nuance, a line, a presence.
The mountains are my open-air museum, and I simply try to capture their quiet emotions—the ones that remain. And above all, to share them.

To the ephemeral, provided it lasts.
