The cloud rose from the hollow of the mountain like white smoke, dense and slow. In the dim light, it seemed as if we were witnessing a dormant volcano waking, a deep breath rising from the heart of the rock. Yet there was nothing fiery about it: only the invisible work of wind and cold, transformed into an almost primordial scene.
